How to Upload Video
Uploading videos to RSN is straightforward and easy. Simply follow these instructions to upload your full game/competition video:
- First, navigate to the video upload page. You'll need to have purchased at least 1 credit in your account in order to upload your video.
- Fill in the fields for the sport, highlights/comments, my team, opponent/event, game score, my jersey number, my jersey color, date of competition, and select whether you'd like to be notified via email when your video is ready to view.
- Next, you'll want to click the "Select Files" button to choose the video file that you wish to upload. We currently only support uploading one video at a time. Once you select the video that you wish to upload, you'll see your file in a progress bar like the screenshot below:
- Finally, click the "Save and Upload" button to begin your video upload. Depending on the size of your video file and the speed of your internet connection, the upload process may take anywhere from a couple minutes to several hours. During this time you'll see the progress bar advance until completetion. it is VERY IMPORTANT that you don't logout, close your browser window, navigate away from this page or exit RSN or your upload will be cancelled.
Once your video is uploaded, you'll be taken to your Videos page where you'll see all videos that you've uploaded. If your video indicates that it is "Processing...", then our server is hard at work converting and compressing your video into a format optimized for web viewing. Once your video is ready to be viewed, you'll see a thumbnail image from your video on this page. Keep in mind that larger video files will take longer to process.
